Find Card Shops Along I-75

This idea started with a pretty simple problem.

You’re traveling somewhere, you’ve got some extra time, and you think:

Are there any card shops along the way?

Then you open Google. You search for card shops.

You start clicking around the map.

You try to figure out which shops are actually close to your route, which ones are still open, what they carry and whether getting there is going to add five minutes to the trip or forty.

We thought there should be a better way. So we built Card Shop Trail.

What Is Card Shop Trail?

Card Shop Trail is a new website built to help collectors discover card shops while they travel.

We’re starting with one of the biggest north-south highways in the country:

I-75 from Florida to Michigan.

Instead of searching an entire city for card shops, Card Shop Trail focuses on shops that make sense as stops during an actual road trip.

The goal is simple:

Get off the highway. Visit a card shop. Get back on the road.

Built Around the Way People Actually Travel

Card Shop Trail lets you explore shops along the route and see which stops make sense for your trip.

Heading north? Start working your way north.

Heading south? Follow the Trail south.

Looking specifically for sports cards? You can narrow things down.

More interested in Pokémon or TCG? You can do that too.

And when you find a shop you want to visit, you can jump over to the map and get directions.

We’re trying to remove as much of the research as possible so collectors can spend more time visiting shops instead of searching for them.

Supporting Local Card Shops

There’s another reason we wanted to build this.

Independent card shops are one of our favorite parts of the hobby.

Every one is different.

You might find a huge modern wax selection at one stop, vintage cards at another, Pokémon at the next, bargain boxes somewhere else and a shop owner who introduces you to something you never would have found online.

A road trip gives you an excuse to experience those places.

If Card Shop Trail helps a collector discover a shop they never knew existed — and sends a new customer through that shop’s door — that’s a win.

I-75 Is Only the Beginning

We launched with I-75 because it gives us an incredible starting point.

The Trail runs through Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan, connecting a huge number of collectors, card shops, cities and travel destinations along the way.

But the bigger idea goes well beyond one highway.

We’ll continue adding shops, improving the information, listening to feedback and figuring out where the Trail should go next. We will also begin working with card shows to include in your travel!

If you own a shop we missed, find information that needs updated, or simply know a stop that belongs on the Trail, we want to hear about it.

For now, the Trail is open.
